Exciting shows!
We want to thank everyone that came out for the recent "Tribute to Vietnam Veterans" show at Viper Alley. We dedicated the song “Fortunate Son” to the vets and had such a great time with all of them, their families & friends. The show got a good deal of press, including a story in the Sun-Times, “Pick of the Weekend” in both Chicago Tribune & Metromix, and a mention on the Jonathon Brandmeier Show on WGN Radio.
We look forward to more exciting shows this summer, including a return to the Cantigny Fine Arts Festival in June, also featuring Guitarra Azul. That fest was our very FIRST show 2 years ago, so we’ll be celebrating an anniversary! We’ll be there both days of that fest, and we’ve got lots of other great upcoming shows, including return trips to the western Illinois/ southern Wisconsin/ Eastern Iowa area. Hope to see you all this summer!
Shhhh... it’s “Classified!”
It’s been a long time coming, but our first CD is due out by June 1. Entitled “Classified,” it features a baker’s a dozen of great classic rock songs. We won’t tell you which ones yet because, well, it’s classified! What we can tell you is that they’ve all been arranged especially by Classical Blast, produced by Dr. Caw (Craig Williams) and also features Bill Syniar on bass. We’ll have CDs for sale at upcoming shows, with more info on how to get a copy of your very own soon. So “like us” and keep an eye on our Facebook page or sign up to get our emails.
